full throttle for over 40 years

It all started in small-town America in 1977. SUNEX Tools set out to make an impact in the automotive repair industry, and our heritage of hard work and passionate people made the perfect combination. By the 1980s, SUNEX had become a trusted name to automotive pros. With that success, we didn’t tear down the goal posts; we moved them. In 1984, we launched our flagship line of impact sockets, and we made our mark. SUNEX became an industry leader, all by doing what we do best: asking questions, creating solutions, and delivering quality tools for the working professional. Our growing customer base was proof-positive that we were on the right track.

expanding horizons

The start of the millennium opened new doors. In 2005, SUNEX brought time-tested quality to the international market, and by 2011 we blazed our trail into the industrial arena. With the successful launch of every SUNEX tool category from hand tools to shop presses, it was clear that both industrial Pros and regular Joes demand tools that are guaranteed to perform.

embracing the future

The next four decades may drive us to places we never dreamed of in 1977. What we do know is that we’re ready to take on any challenge that lies down the road. Times may change, but our drive, our people, and our passion to build tools guaranteed to perform will always stay the same. That’s our heritage and our promise.
